Small Engines- This is a semester long course that covers basic repair and maintenance on small engine equipment for example; lawn mowers, ATVs, and chainsaws.
Diesel Mechanics- This course is a semester long class that covers basic repair and maintenance on diesel engines.
Auto I- This is a year long course that cover basic repair and maintenance on automobiles.
Auto II- This is a year long two period class that covers more in-depth repairs on automobiles. The first period of the class is Auto II Class and the second period of the class is Auto II Lab.
Rules for Courses and Shop
A student must be at least 16 years of age to take Auto I or Auto II
Auto I must be taken before Auto II
Closed-toed shoes must be worn at all times in the shop. Sandals, Crocs, or Dudes are not acceptable footwear.
Failure to follow this rule and other shop rules will result in first offense being sent to the classroom and not allowed in the shop and the next offense being that the student will be sent to the office and given a detention.
Safety glasses must be worn when working in the shop or during a lab activity in the shop.
A student must ask for permission before bringing a vehicle in the shop to work on it.
Students must use tools or equipment for their intended purposes.
Absolutely NO horseplay will be tolerated in the classroom or shop area.
